Story

My story begins in sunny California, where I attended the Culinary Institute of America. There, amidst the swirl of buttercream and the delicate piping of sugar, I discovered that design was my secret ingredient. What started as recipes and pastries quickly became sketches and sculptures—I found myself just as enchanted by the artistry of a cake’s curve as I was by its flavor.

After graduation, I honed my craft in bakeries, perfecting techniques and layering each cake with a little more imagination. But my creativity has never been content in a single box (or oven). I dabbled in murals that stretched across walls, painted in watercolor washes that bled into dreamy landscapes, and created digital artworks that leapt off the screen. Each medium taught me something new: that design could take any form, and that my voice as an artist could live everywhere.

Then the world shifted during COVID. While everything slowed down, my curiosity sped up. I taught myself the languages of graphic design—color theory, typography, layout—and soon landed a role designing wedding invitations. It was here, pairing paper with love stories, that something clicked. I realized that cakes, paintings, and invitations weren’t separate loves, but puzzle pieces of the same creative soul.

And so, Husht Design was born—a place where every passion meets. A place where sugar and ink, paint and pixels, texture and typography all mingle together to create something entirely new. Each project is a chance to blend worlds, to let voices whisper and roar in equal measure, and to craft designs that don’t just exist, but linger.
